It's that rare Middle Georgia weekend when the vast taxiways and maintenance ramps at Robins Air Force Base become a huge playground for kids of all ages.
It's free. It's loud. It's colorful, exhilarating, death-defying. About 50 aircraft will be on display - from World War II icons to the latest in aviation technology.
There will be a venerable P-51 Mustang, a B-25 bomber and a replica of a Japanese "Kate" torpedo aircraft that wielded so much havoc on Pearl Harbor 65 years ago.
The massive C-5 airlifter will dwarf an armada of modern-day airships, including the F-15, F-16, F-18, C-17, C-130, Joint STARS, B-52 - all available to touch, feel, smell, peer into and in some cases walk through. ...
